Additional Information

Types of films

The price of tinting is based on the construction of the film you choose . A few of the construction types are dyed, metal, hybrid, ceramic, titanium and carbon. The Suntek films we use are manufactured by Commonwealth Laminating and Coatings, located in Martinsville, VA . Suntek is respected as a industry leader in film technology. We do not carry low quality dyed films. Dyed films will fade or change color with age, have lower heat rejection, and are made from lower quality plastics and adhesives. We carry a metal and a carbon film that offer some of the highest heat rejection on the market. . All films block 99% of the invisible, harmful UVA/UVB rays from the sun.

Warranty

All films come with a lifetime, nationwide warranty from the manufacturer that covers fading , peeling, bubbling, cracking, de-lamination and adhesive failure. The warranty does not cover damage due to neglect or window malfunction that may cause damage to the film. Our carbon films come with a one-time, no fault warranty. We will replace the film on one window if you may happen to damage it (excluding rear windshield).

Process and Time Frame

Window film consists of layers of polyurethane film with a strong adhesive backing, just like a big sticker. Very carefully the film is installed to the inside of the glass using a mild soapy water solution. A vehicle takes about 2 hours to complete once started.

After Installation

The film will take about 3 days to a week for fully cure on the glass. After this, if you see something that doesn’t look right, please give us a call and we will gladly schedule a time to take a look at it .
